🧾 **"Setup and transport" is the supplier's base price for coming to you.** It is part of the total from the very first search result, not a fee added at checkout.

Open the price breakdown on any supplier's page or at checkout and you will see two kinds of lines: a per-person price for the food, and a fixed line called "Setup and transport". On a smaller order the fixed line can be a large share of the total, which makes it look like an extra. It is not. It is how mobile catering is priced, and this article explains what it buys you.

The base price is the same whether you have 20 guests or 100. Bringing a fully equipped kitchen and a team to your address costs the supplier roughly the same either way. So on a small order it is a big share of the total, and on a large order it almost disappears.

That is why the price per person is the number to compare. In search results each supplier shows both the total and the price per person for your guest count, so you can see what the food actually costs once everything is included.

Each supplier sets a minimum spend, the smallest order that makes it worth their while to come out. If your order is below it, a small order fee is added so the minimum is met. You always see clearly when this has happened and how much it is. Adding a few more covers or an add-on often removes the fee entirely.

Each truck or trailer has its own base price, because each one travels, sets up and staffs separately. Book them as separate orders, one per supplier. If you need food for a very large event and want help putting a line-up together, write to us before you book.

✅ **Free cancellation until 7 days before your event.** Cancel by then and everything you have paid is refunded. No fee, no partial refund. Until the same deadline you can also change guest numbers, menu and times.

Plans change. Guest lists grow and shrink, dates move, and sometimes an event does not happen at all. This is how a Nuento order handles that, and what it costs you, which until the deadline is nothing.

You can cancel or change your order free of charge until 7 days before your event. The exact date is shown at checkout under "Free cancellation until", and again on your order page after you have booked.

Example: if your event is on Saturday 20 June, you can cancel or change it until Saturday 13 June.

The supplier is notified automatically and you receive a confirmation by email. Anything already charged is refunded to the same card or account, normally within 5–10 working days depending on your bank. If you paid an invoice, the amount is refunded to your account and you receive a credit note. If nothing has been charged yet, there is nothing to refund.

Most changes do not need a cancellation. Guest numbers, menu choices, serving time, and details about the address or access are all agreed directly with the supplier.

Open your order and use the chat to write to the supplier. The name and phone number of their Head of Catering are also shown at the top of the order page. Standard changes such as a new guest count are adjusted on the order, so the agreement stays in writing and the price updates with it.

If a change makes the total higher, you receive a separate invoice for the difference with a payment link. If it makes the total lower, the difference is refunded, or deducted from the balance if it has not been charged yet.

Book for your best estimate to secure the date, then adjust the number of guests with the supplier once you know. The supplier appreciates hearing as early as possible, but you have until the deadline.

From 7 days before your event the order is binding. By then the supplier has bought ingredients, planned staff and turned down other bookings for your date. If something serious has happened, write to us anyway. We will talk to the supplier and see what can be done, but we cannot promise a refund after the deadline.

Ask the supplier in the chat first. If they are free on the new date, the order is moved. If they are not, and you are still before the deadline, cancel the order and book another supplier for the new date. Nothing is lost.

If you changed phone number or used a different number when booking, you can move the order to your current number under Move an order to this account. You need the order number from your confirmation email and the name or email you booked with.

Secure your date now and adjust guest numbers later. Free cancellation until 7 days before your event.

💳 **Nothing is charged when you book.** You pay once the supplier has accepted your order, and the rest 7 days before your event.

Booking food for an event is a bigger decision than most online purchases, so it is fair to want to know exactly when the money leaves your account. This article walks through every step, from the moment you place your order to the day the supplier is paid.

Weren't asked for a card when you booked?

Then you pay once the supplier has accepted your order. You get an email with a payment link, and instalment 1 — or the full amount if your event is 9 days away or less — is due within 48 hours of approval. You choose whether to pay by card, online banking or FIK.

If you pay instalment 1 by card, instalment 2 is charged automatically to the same card 7 days before your event; the payment page tells you so before you pay. If you pay another way, you get a new payment link for instalment 2. If instalment 1 is not paid on time, we remind you, and if it is still unpaid when instalment 2 is due, the two are combined into one payment. If you book as a business with an active CVR number, you are invoiced as described below.

Your agreement is with the supplier, but the payment goes through Nuento. The supplier is not paid in advance: we hold the payment and pay it out to the supplier once your event has taken place. That is what makes it possible to refund you in full if the supplier cancels or does not deliver, and it is why a supplier should never ask you to pay them directly.

Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund. You are told straight away, and our team helps you find an alternative for your date.

If your card cannot be charged, for example because it has expired or been blocked, we email you a payment link so you can pay with another card. The deadline is in the email. Please do not pay the supplier directly; a payment made outside Nuento is not registered on your order.

If you book as a business, you can choose invoice (bank transfer) or EAN invoice as well as card. Enter your company registration number (CVR) and we fill in the company name and address for you. Then add the email that should receive the invoice, and a requisition number if you have one.

If a change makes the total higher, for example more covers or an extra add-on, you receive a separate invoice for the difference with a payment link. Changes are never charged to your saved card automatically; you pay them yourself through the link. If a change makes the total lower, the difference is refunded, or deducted from the balance if it has not been charged yet.

You can cancel free of charge until 7 days before your event. Everything you have paid is refunded, normally within 5–10 working days. After the deadline the order is binding. See Cancellations, changes and refunds for the details.
